Job description:
- Maintain the highest standard of compliance with the companies GMP and Safety, Health and Environmental policies and procedures.
- Direct production process line supervision including sterile infusions manufacturing and packaging and reporting to department manager.
- Collaborate with department manager to resolve problems, identifying root cause, and proposing process improvements through clear communication.
- Assist in employee training and where required, in the development and imparting training to employees.
- Labour/staff allocation commensurate with production & packaging line requirements.
- Report to department manager on any employee skill or attitude deficiencies that may have a negative impact on production program.
- Provide objective feedback to the department manager regarding subordinate compliance with GMP and EHS training.
- Communicate, develop, and update SOP’s and other documentation (as appropriate) changes when required.
- Report any discrepancies between theoretical and practical application of SOPs / work instructions to the department manager.
- Conduct quality checks during manufacturing & packaging process and report discrepancies/deviations to department manager.
- Liaise with warehouse, engineering, quality assurance and quality control personnel, always working as a team to ensure production lines run efficiently.
- Liaise with operators for product changeovers / line changeovers to ensure reconciliations and returns of materials to warehouse occur promptly and in real time.
- Report to department manager any manual handling activities that present risk of injury.
- Other duties and tasks as assigned.
Job requirements:
- 3 - 5 years of experience in a similar Production Supervisory role within Pharmaceutical manufacturing. Experience in sterile injections manufacturing is highly preferred.
- Degree or Diploma Pharmacy, Degree in Science, or engineering.
- Experience with GMP, EHS and quality in a EU GMP/PICs environment highly advantageous.
