Provide analysis on legal and policy issues relating to proposed new products, protecting
intellectual property, financial offerings, financial structuring, securities offerings,
compliance issues, non-disclosure agreements, commercial agreements, outsourcing
agreements and business strategic planning.
- Review contracts between the Company and other bodies.
- Give legal opinions to Management and advise on legal issues, ensuring that the rights of
the Company and its clients are protected
- Conduct and coordinate research into a variety of regulatory issues.
- Examine newly published laws, acts and regulations and ascertaining how these affect the
Company’s business.
- Perfecting legal documentation.
- Prepare and create contracts on behalf of the Company and represent the client in legal
proceedings as required.
- Review and draft contracts, agreements and internal policies and ensure that they are in
compliance with all statutory or legal requirements.
- Where necessary, participate in relevant committee meetings. - Ensure an effective
recovery setup for the operations of the company - Develop comprehensive reports for
external lawyers where required.
- Where necessary liaise with relevant Units/departments to ensure that legal risks have been
identified, and appropriate courses of action have been taken.
- Perform other duties as required, consistent with the goals, objectives, and responsibilities
of the company.
